2010 Lenten Series Schedule

Lenten Series Week 5: Deborah Sokolove & the Reverend Mary Jayne Ledgerwood

The adult program for Week 5 of the 2010 Alfred St. John Matthews Lenten Series called … faithful stewards of thy bounty will feature Jordan Blevins, Assistant Director of Eco-Justice, National Council of Churches, and the Reverend Mary Jayne Ledgerwood, Associate Rector for Adult Education and Formation.

In the fifth of a five-part series, Mary Jayne will interview guest Jordan Blevins during the Sunday, March 21, Adult Forum called Art & Creation after the 9:00 a.m. service.

Mr. Blevins will return for the evening program on Wednesday, March 24, for continued dialogue with adults about Community & Creation from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. after our Lenten supper at 6:00 p.m. in Shears Hall. The children’s evening program is called We are called to share God’s Creation.

At noon on Wednesday, March 24, after a brown bag lunch, Mary Jayne continues with the fifth of a five-part series based on scripture featured in Scripture, Culture, and Agriculture: An Agrarian Read of the Bible by Dr. Ellen F.
