Local Outreach
St. John's Church uses its human and financial resources to support local outreach organizations including SHARE, Habitat for Humanity, Martha's Table, and the General Colin L. Powell Leadership Club at the Macfarland Middle School in Washington, D.C. where we are involved in tutoring and other projects.
Sandwich Sunday
Sandwich Sunday is usually held on the fourth Sunday of the month. Volunteers who attend the morning services prepare more than 1,000 sandwiches for Martha's Table. Learn more.

Habitat for Humanity has made substantial progress on Maple Ridge, a 9-unit condominium on Lee Highway in Fairfax, on which crews from St. John's Church are working. Learn more.
SHARE
SHARE, Inc. is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1969 by individuals as well as religious and civic organizations that combined their efforts to meet emergency needs in McLean, Great Falls, Pimmit Hills, and surrounding areas. SHARE, INC. is sustained by donations of food, clothing, furniture and money, and is administered by volunteers, for a SHARING, person-to-person contact. Learn more.

St. John's Church has a sister relationship with Macfarland Middle School in Washington, DC, where we engage in building projects, tutoring and cross-cultural dialogue. Learn more.
