Cleaning out the garage? Planning to buy a new cell phone? Looking for a way to give to those who are less fortunate? Plan ahead for this year's Drive-of-the-Month projects.
February Drive of the Month:
Toiletries for Alternative House
For the month of February, the Mission Committee’s Drive of the Month will be collecting toiletries for our friends at Alternative House. Specific items needed are:
- Toothpaste and tooth brushes
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Full size bar soap
- Bar soap containers
- Deodorant (both male and female “fragrances”)
- Hand and body lotion
St. John’s has had a long-standing relationship with Alternative House, which transforms the lives of our area’s abused and homeless children by providing shelter, counseling and neighborhood-based support. For more information, please visit their website at www.thealternativehouse.org.

A big thank you to those who contributed to last month’s collection for Doorways. We were able to donate a large number of cell phones and electronic devices to use towards the funding of the wonderful services they provide.
