Click below to download the flyer.
St. John’s Summer Series kicks off on Saturday, June 23 at 5:00 pm with picnic blankets and yard games on the lawn.
St. John’s will provide a fried chicken supper, refreshments, and sides, and you are invited to bring a dessert and lawn games to share. Some suggestions are Twister, hula hoops, corn hole, giant jenga, sport balls, etc. We already have commitments for badminton, bubbles, and beach balls! Please R.s.v.p HERE. Contact Kara Lucas at email@example.com with questions or if you would like to help with set-up or clean-up. In your R.s.v.p., please make sure to include how many people are in your group and what lawn game(s) you’ll provide.
Whether or not you’re able to attend Saturday, there’s more fun just around the corner on Sunday, June 24 when all are invited to join us for Afternoon Tea & Storytime in Children’s Chapel at 4:00 pm.
Proceeds will benefit Books for Africa. Adults can sit back and relax with a cup of tea and a sweet treat while the kids enjoy some favorite stories and a simple craft. Beat the heat, rest your feet, and enjoy a little downtime at St. John’s on Sunday afternoon! Click HERE to R.s.v.p so we know how many to expect!
Family Ministry Has a Job for You!
Learn more about all the different ways you can participate in various Family Ministries at St. John’s—from helping out in Church School or mentoring a Confirmand, to leading a fun family event or chaperoning a trip. No need to commit now, just click HERE and select any areas in which you might have interest and we will contact you to discuss and answer questions! It takes a village to raise a child and you are part of that village, so we look forward to welcoming all returning and new volunteers to the next great year in Family Ministry at St. John’s. We can’t do it without you.
