Share Your Thanks for Our Church School Teachers!

As our program year comes to a close with Church School Teacher Appreciation on Sunday, May 20, we give thanks for all of our volunteer teachers and want to give you the opportunity to do so as well!

Please visit our Appreciation Station HERE to share a brief thought or note of thanks to the Church School teacher who has had a positive impact on your child this year. Comments will be consolidated into cards to be given to the teachers on Sunday, May 20.

Family Ministry Has a Job for You!

Learn more about all the different ways you can participate in various Family Ministries at St. John’s—from helping out in Church School or mentoring a Confirmand, to leading a fun family event or chaperoning a trip. No need to commit now, just click HERE and select any areas in which you might have interest and we will contact you to discuss and answer questions! It takes a village to raise a child and you are part of that village, so we look forward to welcoming all returning and new volunteers to the next great year in Family Ministry at St. John’s. We can’t do it without you.

Church School

The mission of our Church School is to engage children and youth in discovering a life of fruitful Christian service and to encourage their interest and involvement in the life of the parish.

Church School for Preschool through 6th Grade meets from mid-September through mid-May immediately following the 9:00 am Sunday service and concludes at approximately 11:00 am. This schedule coincides with the Adult Forum so that parents can participate in Christian Education programs simultaneously.

Register for Church School using the Children/Youth Registration Form 2017–2018. For questions and more information, please contact Whitney Wolf.
