EYC Youth Corner

It is so hard to believe that my year as EYC president is coming to an end! It has been so fun, and I am so excited to still be involved in the activities we have planned even after the new commissioning service. There is no EYC on February 5 because of the super bowl game- I hope that everyone is watching it!
We are really hoping that everyone will come out to a “Night of Ethical Dilemmas” on February 12. The EYC will be talking with Margi Vanderhye about how people of opposing political views can still be at peace as people of God. I think this will be really interesting, because living in such a politically based place makes it hard sometimes to have the two coexist. On February 19, join us at McLean Family Restaurant for fun conversation and tasty food. This is always a crowd pleaser!
On the 26th, EYC will be bowling at Strike Bethesda with the Colin Powell Leadership Club at Macfarland Middle School. Spending time with these younger kids and setting a good example is the best way you could make a difference in their lives. Bowling is always a great way to make new friends and have a great time!
